On 1 November 2021 Torben Smedegaard Pedersen started as CCO in Debbie in charge of Debbie's commercial activities in Denmark. Torben comes to Debbie with more than 25 years of experience in the recovery of outstanding debts and was most recently market manager for 11 years in Kredinor (the former Merchant's Debt Collection Service). He has an in-depth knowledge of companies' needs for dealing with debtors and debt collection companies' work on recovery.
"I have basically worked with recovery all my professional life, and I am pleased to be able to leverage my experience and industry knowledge in a new role. I see Debbie as the digital resource in a customer service or debt collection department, because with Debbie, both companies and debt collectors can recover claims without losing the good customer relationship. It's an opportunity that I couldn't let go of, and I look forward to working with Emil and a dynamic team.""
Torben Pedersen on his accession as CCO
Torben will be part of the executive board with Emil Brandt, who is Debbie's founder and today CEO and CTO. Emil says in connection with Torben's accession:
"Torben reinforces the team we build in search of Debbie's full potential. With Torben, we will have an experienced director who can partly build our commercial department, but who also has an unconventional approach to recovery and who will be a fantastic sparring partner in product development"
